Natural landscapes of northern New York
“The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly.”
John Muir
The Adirondack region of New York State has long been a source of artistic inspiration for me, with its distinctive landscape of hills, valleys, and waterways. These paintings explore the area’s diverse natural settings throughout different seasons and times of day, paying particular attention to the effects of changing light and weather conditions.
From misty morning lakes to sun-dappled forest paths, each work aims to capture both the grand vistas and intimate moments that make the Adirondacks such a compelling subject for landscape painting.
