I began this seated figure late last Fall (please note the photo of the unfinished work), but didn’t get around to completing it until last weekend. This afternoon (Sunday, October 23rd) during an Opening Reception, I had the pleasure of seeing it hanging on one of the Smith Gallery walls at the Wayne Art Center, Radnor, PA as one of the works in the annual Juried Members Exhibit for Fall 2011. It was a pleasure to see it completed, framed and exhibited after many months of it sitting on the floor leaning against the wall, over in a corner of my studio. It also pleases me to share that my wife, Carol, also had one of her figure sculptures accepted for this exhibit.
